joYou can come on your own, with a partner or friends in a group of up to 10 people sharing four gîtes (apartments) in the Razès. Quite simply, we believe that individuals can lose their identity in larger groups and, since this is your experience we want you to enjoy it.

We offer you 40 circuits and 5 linear trails covering the length and breadth of the rolling Razès countryside, ranging from 5 to 40 km - and the choice is yours. You determine your own routes and thus distance and difficulty and, most importantly, you get to walk at your own pace.

Most of our walks are day or ½ day circuits. This means that you can return to your own safe haven in a Razès Gîte each evening to relax and unwind in comfort.

Peryperteuse

The number of walks you do is entirely up to you. If you want to walk everyday, simply choose your circuits and you will be guided by Jo or self-guided if you prefer. If you want to walk every other day and have a rest day in between, this is very easy to accommodate too.

Whether you journey alone, as a couple or in a small group, we shall never seek to tie you into another walking group.

You can choose whether you want to come for 7 or 10 days, one or two weeks, even a month! It is entirely up to you how long you come for and on which days you plan to arrive and depart. We understand that co-ordinating arrival and departure dates with flight companies can be very stressful if you are tied down to Saturdays only.

If you want to build some self-guided walks further afield into your itinerary, we have plenty of route maps and information for walks around the Mediterranean coastline and the Pyrenees (both 90 kms, 1¼ hours away), many of which we have done ourselves. You may even wish to visit some of the famous Cathar Castles which are our unique historical features of the Aude département.
